Micromax has launched an Android based phone named Andro A60 in India and it is priced at a very affordable rate of Rs 8000 in India.

The new buzz in handset market is Micromax Android phone Andro A60. As Micromax has come out with the Android os at a very nominal price when compared to the other brands, and its got all the features which a high end phone would have. This would be effecting the top brands like Nokia, Samsung & other phone manufactures. Micromax has being doing good since it has come into the market.

Now we have to see will they be able to capture the market with this launch?

Micromax is now a serious contender in mobile space. They have innovated to create differentiated products for Indian consumer needs. Andro will enable far more people a chance to use smartphones. This is good for all, telecom companies and consumers.Android is going to surpass symbian based phones which now feels outdated.  

The Micromax Android A60 is a 3G phone with 7.2 Mbps. A60 is equipped with Android 2.1 which will allow you to install and download apps on the phone memory and not on the memory card.
Andro A60 has 600 MHz CPU and an internal memory of 150 MB. It also has a dual band GSM Support. It also has gravity sensors as well as digital compass. It has Wi-fi and GPs connectivity too.
Andro A60 has a 2.8 inch touch screen which is resistive and has a 320×240 pixel resolution. It has a 3.2 MP camera with autofocus and also video player and recorder. A 3.5 mm head phone jack and a music player is also added features of the phone.
The overall weight of the new Andro A60 is 105 grams and size wise, it measures 106.8mm x 59.2mm x 14.0mm. It comes with a 1280 mAh Li-ion battery which can give you a talktime of 4 hours.
